The Golden State Warriors are 23-0 this year and have a regular season winning streak of 27 games (finished last season on a 4-game winning streak). The NBA record win most games won in a row is 33 set by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1971-1972 season.

After coming off of a great season last year when they won the NBA championship the Warriors haven’t slowed down.

No teams in the league this year have been able to stop Golden State’s “splash brothers” – Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson – as the two have been showing out and having monster games.

Curry’s season has just been spectacular as he leads the league in scoring averaging 32 points per game, and fourth in steals averaging just over 2 per game. Curry also has had seven 40-point games this season which is the most in the league.

As for the other “splash brother” – Klay Thompson – he has had a great season.

Although Thompson doesn’t score as many points as Curry, he still has a major impact in the game. On Tuesday when the Warriors took on the Indian Pacers, Thompson had a crazy game where he hit 10 3-pointers and scored a whopping 39-points and lead his team to a 131-123 victory.

Golden State faces the Boston Celtics 6:30 Friday in Boston. The Warriors will be looking for their 24th win of the season as well as their 27th win in a row.

The Celtics are 13-9 this season and could be the team that ends the streak. As a group with a defense that is currently 7th in points allowed and 8th in points per game they definitely have a shot at handing  Golden State their first loss of the season.
