Students work to bring Oklahoma to Lufkin

Not many students plan to be on campus working nearly 11 hours, but for the cast and crew of the first theater production of the year, that is just what they want to do in order to have a successful showing of the musical Oklahoma. “We work hard every minute we are here,” said junior Janiah Johnson, one of the 20 crew members. “We work four days a week from when school ends at 3:45 to 7 p.m. We go from painting one of the walls of the set one minute and the next we are building props.
