Prom is less than two weeks away, so time is running out to purchase the admission ticket to the April 8 event at the Pitser Garrison Civic Center. Tickets can be purchased through April 7 in Patri
cia White’s room, C120. Tickets will not be sold at the doors.

The cost of the tickets are $50 per person and $75 for one attendant and their date, and only juniors and seniors can purchase tickets.

Senior Jasmine Coutee said the cost of tickets has her planning a way to curb the Prom expense.

“I believe that the cost of the tickets are way too high,” Coutee said. “I already have someone that I’m going to split the $75 ticket with.”

The theme this year is Diamonds Are Forever, which has enticed

Senior Htet Su to buy a ticket.

“I have heard that the theme is about diamonds,” she said. “and that is one reason why I want to go, to see what this year’s prom look like.”

The students are looking forward to this year’s theme for prom which is , and the date for prom is April 8, 8 P.M -12 A.M.

Once students receive their tickets they will receive a surprise diamond-related item in return as a souvenir for prom.

“I think the souvenir that’s going to be handed out are a set of fake diamond items to memorize the theme,” senior Shakira Gross said.

Students are reminded to arrive before 8:30 p.m.  and that once they leave, they will not be allowed to return. If anyone brings a friend that is not from LHS, they must show an ID and not be over the age of 20.
