Eight Lufkin High School ladies are in the running for homecoming queen on Friday night.

This week is filled with tons of activities to get the school into the spirit for the Panthers’ football game against Magnolia on Friday night. Leading up to the big game, students have a week of dress-up days to get into the homecoming spirit.

The LHS homecoming pep rally is scheduled for Thursday night, after the freshman football game at Abe Martin Stadium. The pep rally is expected to begin at 7 p.m.

Friday night’s homecoming ceremony will start at approximately 7 p.m. The football game will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Voting for homecoming queen began Monday morning and ends at 4 p.m. today.
