Lufkin High School is providing students the opportunity to apply to work as an aide during summer school, which helps out the teachers.

The process to become a summer school aide is simple and it is approximately 30 minutes to fill the application. The application can be found on the Lufkin ISD website on the right hand corner under employment.

A student will have to create a login and password to begin the application and is followed by personal information about the student. While the student has a login and password they can save it and come back later to finish.

As well, three recommendation letter are required to be added to the application. Many students spend summer looking for jobs to earn a little extra cash.

Lufkin High School is giving students that opportunity. Being a student aid for Lufkin High School can be beneficiary to students for several reason such as: working in an environment you are use to, working with people you know, and being able to put on a resume you have worked for LISD.

The application deadline is May 30th to apply online. Panther Growls have a video demonstration showing how to apply.
