Lady Pack soccer is not only a team but also a family with the same state of mind.

“We all have the same goal and want the same thing in order to do that we need to work together” senior Moriah Pillips said.”

Coach Anotonio Encarnacion said that this year the girls are playing as a team, moving the ball around, communicating more, and moving off the ball.

‘That leads to making better passes and possession of the ball,” Encarnacion said. “We had the ball more then we had in in the last few years”

Encarnacion is credited for finding a way to keep the Lady Panthers more focused on the games than their opponets.

“He takes our phones from us and put them in his bag before we get on the bus,or soon as we get to the field,” senior Madison Bartlett said.

The Panthers friendship on and off the field is no different. Six of the eight seniors are going to Tyler Junior College to play soccer.

“When we’re on the field our number one goal is to win and have fun as a team,”senior Shelby Smithermen said. “When we’re off the field, we have fun with each other.”

Encarnacion said he is the same on and the field.

“I can’t control them,” he said, “but I always expect them to give 100 percent on the field and in the class.”

Coach Encarnacion said he enjoys his team and how hard the Lady Pack work in practice.

”When we played A&M Consolidated we tied 0 to 0 we only had two girls for  substitution and we play 80 minute game that shows how hard the girls work and any coach would want to have that out of there players” said Encarnacion.
