This Week in LP Sports: Basketball teams hit the court; golf team hosts Panther Invitational

On Tuesday, the girls basketball teams host the Huntsville Lady Hornets. The JV and sophomore teams play at 5 p.m., with varsity to follow at 6:30.

Thursday through Saturday, the girls JV basketball team competes in the Wells Tournament. The boys JV and freshman Purple teams also will compete in the tournament. Simultaneously, the freshman Gold team will compete in the three-day Hudson Tournament.

On Friday, the swim team travels to Texarkana for the annual two-day TISCA swim meet, hosted by Texas High. The girls varsity basketball team travels across town for a 6 p.m. contest against the Hudson Lady Hornets. The boys varsity basketball team travels to The Woodlands for a 5 p.m. game with the College Park Cavaliers. Additionally, the boys golf team hosts its two-day Panther Invitational tournament at Crown Colony Country Club.
