This Week in LP Sports: Pack football team hosts Los Redskins Del Estado on Lufkin Community Night

On Tuesday, Sept. 10, the Lady Panthers volleyball teams play on the road versus the Magnolia Bulldogs. The freshman and JV squads play at 4:30 p.m., and the varsity team plays at 5:30. The Lady Panthers look to rebound from a 3-0 loss to Tyler Lee and improve upon their 7-13 record against a 12-4 Magnolia team.

Also on Tuesday, the Pack’s tennis team takes on the Marshall Mavericks at home at 4 p.m. The JV tennis team travels to Marshall to complete the week’s series against the Mavericks.

On Friday, the volleyball girls travel to face their traditional rivals, the Nacogdoches Lady Dragons. The varsity team plays at 4:30 p.m., with the JV and freshman teams to follow at 5:30.

Los Redskins Del Estado travel to Abe Martin Stadium from south of the border on Lufkin Community Night for a football game with the Panthers. The Pack looks to win and carry a 2-1 record into their bye week once again. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

To finish the week, the cross country team will compete in the Hallsville Invitational on Saturday morning in Hallsville.
